3xx Redirection
308 Permanent Redirect
Permanently redirect to another URL, keeping the method and body.
The method-preserving version of 301. Useful for APIs whose endpoints have moved for good.
Notes
- Search engines treat 308 like 301. Very old clients may not understand it.
