FAQ
Is there a size limit?
No practical limit — conversion uses JavaScript BigInt, so 64-bit IDs, hashes and very large numbers convert exactly, with no floating-point rounding.
What is two’s complement?
The standard way computers store signed integers: a negative number −n is stored as 2^bits − n. For example, −1 in 8 bits is 11111111.
