The cached copy is still valid; no body is sent.
Returned to conditional requests (If-None-Match with an ETag, or If-Modified-Since) when the resource hasn’t changed, saving bandwidth.
Notes
- Seeing many 304s is normal and good. If changes don’t appear, check whether your ETag or Last-Modified headers update when content changes.
